Young at Heart

Young at Heart is a senior ministry that meets the second, third and fourth Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to play games, eat a delicious lunch and spend time in fellowship. The cost of the lunch is $3.

For more information, please contact the church office.

Grief Share

GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone.

GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

If you'd like to join us for GriefShare, we meet every Thursday from 1:30 to 3 p.m., or in the evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

For more information, email Charlee Garbs at charlee@fumcmarshall.org.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry meets 2 p.m. the first Wednesday of each month.

Anyone who wants to sew, crotchet, knit or lend a helping hand are invited to join the ministry. The group is called the FUMC Prayerful Stitchers. Even if you’re not a knitter, perhaps you would like to sew labels on the shawls, or deliver them to the folks in need. We're also always on the look-out for more yarn. If you have yarn you would like to dispose of, or you come across a bunch at a yard sale, we can always use it!
